Sustainable Business

10 de November de 202226 de January de 2017 by IPE

The IPÊ Sustainable Business Unit (UNS) is an innovative project that culminated in the creation of an area of the organization specialized in creating alternatives for participation and social involvement in favor of biodiversity from projects with communities and business partnerships.

This initiative has already given rise to projects to support income generation in communities such as “Tailoring the Future” (residents of the rural area of Nazaré Paulista learn how to embroider T-shirts, bags and accessories in 100% cotton fabric with prints of animals at risk of extinction And, while learning a role, increase family income, self-esteem, and love of nature by participating in activities with environmental and planting educators), the “Pura Bucha” (seated families produce organic bushings that are Adapted to the Brazilian fauna) and the “Café con Floresta” (settlement families are oriented to form an agroforestry, combining the planting of native trees with the cultivation of agroforestry coffee).

Under this same umbrella are partnerships with companies that have in the Sustainable Business Unit a channel for the promotion of Cause Related Marketing (MRC) campaigns, a way to promote their image / brand / product and at the same time invest in actions Conservation of the environment. Such partnerships as Havaianas IPÊ, Danoninho para Plantar, Tricard / Tribanco, Faber Castell and Brahma are important examples of how products can be allies of an organization, serving as a bridge between a cause and society. From these partnerships, the institution has managed to form a reserve fund that allows it to plan the future and invest in improvements.
