Round movement

Donation Initiatives

IPÊ is among the organizations benefiting from the Round Up Movement. The initiative was created with the aim of transforming the culture of donation in a simple way, with a focus on micro-donations, a worldwide trend.

It works as follows: when buying a product or using a service at an establishment that is a member of the movement, the customer can choose to round up the bill, donating the cents to Arredondar which, in turn, distributes the donations among the registered organizations, which have undergone a rigorous selection process. These are institutions that work on important causes such as the environment, health and education, among others.

IPÊ’s partners are the Luigi Bertolli, Meggashop and Havaianas stores, which round up exclusively for the Institute and its cause. In an innovative move, Tricard has also joined in: card customers have the option of rounding up their bill, donating the cents to IPÊ.

The donations are earmarked for the work of the Institute, which is responsible for carrying out scientific research for the conservation of six species of endangered and vulnerable animals; environmental education and training activities in communities that reached 17,000 people in 2017; courses and postgraduate courses in conservation and sustainability with ESCAS; sustainable businesses that benefit more than 200 families; as well as forest restoration, with more than 3 million trees planted in the Atlantic Forest.
