Objetcives:
- Research rare and threatened species and implement management plans for their conservation; integrating natural and captive animals with introduction, reintroduction, and translocation;
- Develop environmental education and agro-ecology extension programs in communities near natural areas;
- Promote and train professionals from various areas of conservation, particularly conservation biology;
- Influence public policies that benefit biodiversity conservation in Brazil;
- Restore, regenerate, and reconstruct the habitat of threatened species;;
- Obtain financial support for current projects;
- Develop training projects and propose sustainable income alternatives for communities surrounding protected areas;
- Promote partnerships with companies that adopt socio-environmental responsibility.
