Tribanco, Tricard and IPÊ

In a Cause Related Marketing partnership, IPÊ and Tribanco are giving Tricard card users the opportunity to support the socio-environmental cause every time they decide to use this form of payment.

With each operation of the Crédito Certo Tribanco (CCT) product, R$0.10 cents is donated to the Institute. What’s more, for every Tricard card bill paid, 1 cent goes to IPÊ to support the continued work of conserving Brazilian biodiversity. In 2015 alone, donations totaled R$62,114.10.

IPÊ also collaborates actively with the company in internal campaigns to raise awareness among employees about socio-environmental conservation. Lectures, content production and events are part of the actions that arouse the interest and pride of employees in supporting the cause through the company.

History

Refurbished Maira boat 13

The Tribanco and IPÊ partnership began in 2003, when Sistema Integrado Martins, a group of which Tribanco is a part, donated the Maíra I boat, which carries out activities and projects in the Lower Rio Negro region, in the Amazon.

IPÊ uses the Maíra I boat to sail to the communities on the left bank of the Lower Rio Negro, promoting projects and integrating them into socio-environmental activities. The Institute has been active in the region since 2000. In 2003, the donation of the boat gave a significant boost to actions in the region. Today, in addition to serving as support for projects that have already benefited more than 30 communities and involved more than 5,000 people, the boat is also a resource for immersion in the local socio-environmental reality.
