It consists of the balance of agro-systems, without the use of pesticides and the autonomy and independence of family farmers, extractivists and fishermen. <\/span><\/p><p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Agroecology is the result of a more balanced interaction between groups of people and their territories, based on cooperative experiences that reinforce conservation and affirm sustainability for the Amazon. By making agroecology viable for Amazonian populations, it is possible to fight hunger, support climate change mitigation, contribute to public health and value socio-biodiversity products through organic certification. <\/span><\/p><p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">We&#8217;re talking about real food, produced by family farms, in the countryside, in the forests, in the rivers and in the city.<\/span><\/p><p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">In this project, IP\u00ca is working to consolidate the agro-ecological value chain and organic production in the state of Amazonas, while also improving the quality of life of family farmers and traditional communities and conserving biodiversity, through advice and training, strengthening local organizations, structuring production units, organic certification and support for marketing.<\/span><\/p><p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Agroecologia em Rede operates in five municipalities in Amazonas: Manaus, Rio Preto da Eva, Careiro da V\u00e1rzea, Iranduba and Itacoatiara. The conservation impact is estimated to reach 12.5 million hectares of forest, in a State Conservation Unit and five rural settlements. <\/span><\/p><p><b><span data-contrast=\"none\">Key
